The University of Alaska Southeast Fisheries Technology Program is planning to offer a salmon culture class. The class will provide an overview of salmon culture techniques with the chance to put it into practice under the watchful eye of an Assistant professor with over 25 years of experience in the salmon industry.
The class is scheduled for April 14-16 and offers one credit. Salmon is an integral part of life for many Alaskans and many folks find employment in salmon production this class is a valuable opportunity for young Alaskans to get experience in this field.
