Alaskan Fisherwoman

Here is a link to a radio show interviewing some Alaskan Fisherwoman. Its not very common to see Commercial fisherwoman its mostly a male profession. The interview features Kiyo Marsh and Laura Cooper who worked on crabbing teams and long lining. Laura worked as a deckhand long lining and boat cook. They have written a cookbook fishes and dishes inspired by their experiences. They talk about experiences at sea and what they ate. They also mention how Alaskan seafood is sustainable and tips for buying sustainable seafood.
